DigitaLang
Digitalization as a Language Learning Tool for Migrant Students
We’re bringing a fresh, playful twist to language learning in European schools. The project focuses on gamification and bite-sized microlearning to help students aged 10–14 build real linguistic skills, all while actually having fun. Along the way, we’re also giving teachers practical digital tools and methods that fit today’s classrooms and EU educational priorities.

How we’re getting there
Our work is split into a few key areas
Learning units
Short, interactive learning units built in four languages, sized to fit into a busy school day.
A game-like platform
A simple, game-like digital platform to host the units and keep students coming back.
Support for teachers
Training, ready-made resources, and a community for teachers putting the approach into practice.
Tested in real classrooms
We’ll be testing everything directly in schools across several partner countries, gathering feedback from both students and educators to make sure the results are genuinely useful.
Build
Learning units and the platform take shape with our partners.
Test in schools
Everything is tried out directly in classrooms across partner countries.
Listen and improve
Feedback from students and educators shapes what comes next.
By the end, we aim to deliver
What we’ll deliver
Microlearning materials
A full set of digital language microlearning materials, ready for classrooms in four languages.
A gamified platform
A digital platform that keeps students motivated through play, not just repetition.
A confident teacher network
A stronger network of teachers who feel confident using innovative, digital approaches.
A partnership across Europe
The project brings together 7 partners from Slovakia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Norway, Romania, each adding their own expertise to help make language learning more engaging, inclusive, and future-ready.
